Meet the Panelists

Marina
Admissions Counselor - University of Pennsylvania & University of Chicago

Marina received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. After her undergraduate studies, Marina received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She has since worked as a research analyst for some of the world's most reputed companies including Yahoo!, The Kraft Heinz Company, Hyatt Hotels, and Facebook.

Marina is passionate about helping students determine their strengths. She loves to help Quad students tell their unique stories through their applications and is energized by helping students understand and prepare for the SAT and ACT. She has coached many college applicants who have achieved admission at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Michigan, and the University of Chicago, among others.

Darryl
Admissions Counselor - Tufts University

Darryl acquired nearly 20 years of experience working in college admissions before leading a successful college counseling office for an independent secondary school for the past 12 years. Previously Darryl was Senior Associate Director of Admissions at Tufts University, where he gained valuable insight into the world of highly selective college admissions. Darryl began his career at Union College (NY), his alma mater, in 1992, where he started as an admissions counselor and rose to the leadership role of Associate Dean.

He regularly trains new admissions professionals and conducts presentations and workshops for organizations, including The College Board,the administer of the SAT, and the National Association for College Admission Counseling. Darryl is passionate about helping students understand admissions requirements (including SAT/ACT requirements) and how they can strengthen their applications to top schools.
